This image is part of a larger series based on a study abroad trip to Cuba in the Spring of 2014 and was inspired by the landscape and rural farmland of Viñales, Cuba.

Prints were pulled on BFK Rives rag paper. The white proof is an edition of 10, the cream proof is an edition of 5 and the hand-colored artist proof is 1/1. The variable tobacco edition of 12 was created by unrolling and flattening tobacco leaves from authentic Cuban cigars and printing the copper plate directly into the tobacco with the chine-collé technique.
