Propensity for Chaos (Birds of a Feather) is a collaborative woodblock print cultivated from the pen and ink illustration, photography, and biological scans of contributing artists, Scott Ludwig and Nick Osetek. Working in a freeform, responsive manner, something akin to the process of exquisite corpse, the artists mashed up bits and pieces of exchanged imagery.

The resulting work loosely confronts the impact of humanity’s industrial complex and resulting environmental calamities. The collaborating artists enthusiastically embrace hybrid print media (traditional and digital processes), which were used to produce this mural-sized woodcut print on Korean mulberry paper.
